The Twin Guardians: Phobos and Deimos
Normally seen in their black crow form, Phobos and Deimos are the twin guardians to the fire senshi Hino Rei. They are originally from the planet Coronis, where they were selected by Princess Mars while they were still in training. Phobos is known for wearing her red fuku and Deimos wears the dark purple fuku. The first time we see them, they are with Rei at the Hiwaka Shrine. When Rei moves to the shrine to live with her grandpa, the two crows immediately make friends with her. Together, the twins share a special bond with her companion Rei. They are always watching over her, and they often warn Rei about negative energy or bad premonitions. The first time they take on their humanoid forms is during the Dream Arc, in order to help Rei wake up from her nightmare created by Tiger Eye. At this time, they present Rei her Mars Crystal, which allows the senshi to become even stronger. During the Stars Arc, the two twins reappear once more in their humanoid forms during Sailor Lead Crow's attack. Both girls are genuinely supportive of Rei, and would even risk their lives to protect their princess.

Humanoid Transformations:

First Transformation - Act 36, Volume 12
The two guardians transform to give Rei her Mars crystal and to save her from Tiger's Eye wicked dream.

Second Transformation - Act 45, Volume 16
During Sailor Lead Crow's attack on the Hiwaka Shine, Phobos and Deimos morph into their humanoid form
