The CivilianIn the NA animated version of Usagi, she is nothing but a lazy, wimpy crybaby who eats all the time. Could this girl really become the champion of justice? However, in the manga version Usagi is a little bit of that and your typical, teenage girl. She likes to hang out with her friend Naru, look at jewelry stores and play arcade games. But underneath the goofiness, she is a person who would never intentionally hurt someone without reason. Although she is lazy at first, she grows into her responsibilities to both her friends as a girl and as a senshi. She makes friends with those who seem unapproachable, and finds love in all the right places. When it comes to Mamoru, she can become very jealous to the point where she loses reason! Overall, Usagi is beautiful because she has faults. She feels regular emotions like jealousy, depression, anger, joy, and so forth unlike a few other shoujo characters I can name from other series. Usagi is a person who believes in her friends, and always manages to find the strength to carry on. And given the chance, Usagi chooses to live with both suffering and joy, to talk and be with her friends, because you have to have the bad with the good to truly enjoy living.

image The Soldier: Sailor Moon; Super; Eternal
The Soldier When it comes to protecting the people she loves, she fights with all of her heart. When Luna first awakens her as a senshi, Sailor Moon can't think of anything better to do than to cry and go home. But she overcomes her fear and discomfort to stop the monster from hurting her friend Naru and the other victims of the Dark Kingdom. However, her life as a soldier is never without struggles, and sometimes she is forced to make difficult decisions. If she doesn't have to, she never willingly sacrifices her friends or civilians. But if it came down to it, Sailor Moon uses all of her strength and love, and even her own life, to protect the Earth and save everybody. Would you give your life to protect the ones you love? I know Sailor Moon would. One of the toughest trials for her was in the Stars arc, where her fellow senshi and the love of her life were killed by Sailor Galaxia. And she struggled with the fact that her Ginzuishou (Silver Crystal) was the source of so much pain and suffering for them. Towards the end of the arc, Eternal Sailor Moon was quite literally alone in her battle with Galaxia. Yet, she was never truly alone, because of her belief in her friends, and the future that was sure to pass. Eternal Sailor Moon has the power to save everything.

image The Past: Princess Serenity
The Past Once upon a time, there was a kingdom on the moon ruled by Queen Serenity. The era was known as the Silver Millennium, and the heir to this paradise was Princess Serenity who would always gaze longingly at the blue planet. Although their people lived extraordinary long lives and lived in peace, Princess Serenity yearned for more. She had one secret: She would often sneak down to the planet to see the first royal prince of the Earth Kingdom. To her, there was no one stronger or greater than Prince Endymion. However, he people of the Moon and the Earth were not allowed to have contact with one another; but it was already too late. They had already fallen in love. But before this princess had ever laid eyes upon the Earth, she had been cursed by an evil queen, Nehellenia. The curse entailed that she would die, and never reign over her kingdom. Whether or not the curse was fulfilled, the kingdom was struck by one disaster after another, and the Dark Kingdom eventually invaded the Moon Kingdom. In the last moments of Princess Serenity's life, she saw her beloved die trying to protect her. Princess Serenity's sorrow was so great, she committed suicide by plunging the Stone Sword into her heart. Thanks to her mother, Queen Serenity, she was reborn as Tsukino Usagi, hoping that she could find true love and happiness.

image The Future: Neo-Queen Serenity
The Future The Queen of the Silver Millennium and Crystal Tokyo is the future self of Sailor Moon. Once she was crowned in the twenty-first century along with her husband, King Endymion, all of Crystal Tokyo was blessed with extremely long life-spans and the ability to stop aging after they reach maturity. After she had turned 22, she gave birth to the crown princess, Princess Small Lady Serenity, she herself had stopped aging. Unfortunately, after she had been crowned and gained her title as the queen, she had lost most of her powers as a senshi. However, she is still able to watch over Crystal Tokyo with her power of the Ginzuishou. However, she still has a considerable amount of power, especially since she is able to bring the dead back to life. Neo-Queen Serenity is also a loving, mature person and a devoted mother. And although it may be hard to believe, there is still the Usagi we know inside of her. In the Black Moon Arc, she also desires to see her past self, just as Usagi wants to meet her future self, even if it meant changing the course of history.
