Princess Kakyuu is the first order imperial princess who hails from the Tankei Kingdom of Kinmoku-sei. Naoko's material notes add that her clothes are made out of silk, and that her hair ornaments and pins have the fragrance of olives. After the horrific battle with Galaxia and the death of her lover, she flees. Somehow, she manages to make her way to Earth and is found by ChibiChibi. She is then hidden inside of an incense burner for her safety while she recovers and remains hidden for most of the Stars Arc. Finally, Princess Kakyuu regains her strength and appears in front of the Starlights, who had been searching for her by singing together as a pop idol group. Although there is still little known about her, the depth of sadness in her words and her eyes are heartbreaking. And even though her heart is stricken with grief, Princess Kakyuu believes in the future as long as Eternal Sailor Moon is here to fight.

The Soldier: Sailor Kakyuu
After the deaths of the planetary senshi, Princess Kakyuu, ChibiChibi and the other Starlights accompany Eternal Sailor Moon on her journey to Zero Sagittarius Star to defeat Sailor Galaxia once and for all. But when the Starlights are killed and their Sailor Crystals are taken by Sailor Phi and Sailor Chi inside of the Star Garden, Princess Kakyuu henshins into Sailor Kakyuu. As Sailor Kakyuu and having lost her beloved senshi, the Starlights, she is a woman who is determined to avenge her comrades. Her two attacks are extremely powerful and she manages to fight against the enemies beside Sailor Moon. Suddenly, she is ruthlessly stabbed in the back by Sailor Chi. Even as she dies in Sailor Moon's arms, Kakyuu speaks of hope for the future, and her desire to be born in a more peaceful world and to be together with everyone again. After she speaks her final words, her body is destroyed and her Sailor Crystal is stolen by Sailor Venus, who had been reanimated along with the other planetary senshi to serve Galaxia.
