Why I made Manga-Angels

A long time ago I decided to make a Sailor Moon website because I fell in love with the series. I liked learning more information, and finding fun, new ways to share that love with other people. And now I decided to rebuild Manga-Angels because I missed that feeling of accomplishment, and being part of the Sailor Moon circuit. I loved all the interesting people that I met. There's just a feeling I can't describe in words.

About Manga-Angels

In 2001 I decided to create my own Sailor Moon website. I originally wanted it to be a gallery, which then bled into my passion into making it a general website. I forced myself to learn HTML. It's original name was something like 'Sailor Moon + Senshi Gallery' hosted at gurl.com Eventually, the site had been renamed 'Midnight Dreams'. Unfortunately, had begun to mirror myself off of other websites, going as far as to copy code, content, etc. I was caught, and had learned my lesson and started to re-create myself. It wasn't my proudest moment, but one that I had learned the hard way. At his point, I was hosted at t35.com and re-named the website Manga-Angels.

After a while, M-A continued to grow and grow. I had gotten to know a lot of people, and I was always trying to think of new layout schemes and content to make people laugh. I made quite a few friends within the sailor moon world. Unfortunately, during this time a lot of websites were getting hacked. When it had happened to M-A, I was shocked and devestated. At the same time, M-A had been static for a few months. It was an afterthought. But when it was gone, I felt a small part of me crack and I cried. So many years - just gone. I couldn't even fathom who or how. It was just gone. Life went on, and there was plenty of school and overall disappointment to even think.

In March 2008, I had been playing with the idea of breathing life into M-A. Slowly, I started to type up ideas of things I would like it to have. Sadly, I had to re-learn a bit of HTML too. And when I began construction, I sighed thinking "this is going to be a lot of work!" It was worth it.

In December 2008, I was finally able to get my brand new domain working, Tea-partie.net. I gave Manga-Angels a make-over... And now a new chapter has begun.
